Pulaski Park is still offering plenty of warbler-watching opportunities. Today I saw more Yellow-rumped Warblers, a few American Redstarts, a Black-and-white Warbler in the same spot as earlier this week and — hanging out in the same area as the Black-and-white — the Black-throated Blue Warbler above.
In addition to the warblers, I had a nice look at a Wood Thrush and a Baltimore Oriole, and heard Northern Flickers and Red-bellied Woodpeckers.
More images to come.
O my gosh – I stumbled upon your blog while doing a search of Pulaski Park (which Incredibly I discovered just yesterday even though I’ve lived in the area for quite some time). Your photos are awesome and I’m psyched to discover yet another birding spot (I am a novice bird watcher). Thank you!
Thanks, Karen! Pulaski is really a nice little park, and offers some very good birding opportunities during the soring and fall migrations.
Thanks for writing.
