I found the wing print above — and many more — on a flood control berm behind the former Nonotuck Paper mill.
Nearby, tracks from a small mammal traced a path up from a tailrace into the river and across the berm before disappearing in the center of a set of prints that appeared to include two wings and a broad tail.
